Amber radiance
some say innocence is as blind as absolute white
I say leave that to the doves
they can only be seen in flapping interludes
But you
you are a vision atop a mountain high
where nature’s glare dims
letting shades of shadow gradiate
Your eyes are day and night
intentionally content in their stare
as you hug your body
your legs disappear into you like escalating stairs
Against the valley of this mountain high
fields parallel
green
to the river below
chase the clouds to the center of light
acknowledging the color of you
is greater than absolute white
