Moving from side to side
her bronze bangs bounce and sway
balancing the fruit of the day on the tip of her head
her fingers are dancing on their way to a colorful spread

Turning her elbows in time with her chest
she bounces with a smile
like the fruit on her t-shirt pressed

Bounding in time with the music inside
already having a good time in the heat
she knows she is a special one that cannot be beat
spirit strong
as her song makes its way through the street
