A simple flower
to give my heart to you
petals translucent as the transparent love that broke through
An effortless smile
shared across the air between
I can hear you breathe
your chest rising
a princess to a queen
Modestly on one knee
presenting a ring in flower folds
the next step is as clear as the sparkles in our eyes
lighting the road
