When God created man
he knew there would be a storm
that man’s heart would turn against Him over and over again
yet He loved and loves us anyway
renewing his covenant even with that of his son
so that even in man’s continued transgression
eternal inheritance may be won
When you see the suffering in the cracked and chiseled hands of so many
know that there is a solution
a price that has been paid
that now you are the one to carry out the work
feed the hungry
clothe the poor
bless and weep for those who hate you and those who don’t
doing what is good requires facing the truth
that doing it requires unfathomable mercy resolute
