A humid tropical breeze
and an Eastern European wind
meet on a beach unknown to most
Looking into my eyes
a woman once dressed in red nails and flowers
has traded floral ornamental for forward white
accompanied by pink blossoms that open lively at her sight
Heart beating so thoroughly it has parted the ocean of milk she carries in two
only the shores of her slender arms stop the waves coming to shore
as her flowers begin to slip from her hands to the floor
At once she moves her head away but keeps her eyes on me the same
as if to say the petals as they blush
from this moment forward
amid tropical heat
and a floral wind
a future of love and nurture is all that remains
