For The Princess!
Poem #303 • Teach her how to slay the dragon
Swords, dragons, princesses, kings, queens, and knights
dresses, tights, crowns and royal beds
I’m the hero of it all!
Daddy you are the bad guy
you have to lose!
But I thought I was the knight in your kingdom!
“Nooooooo! We have to fight.
Otherwise the prince can’t save me.”
Aren’t you the hero?
“Yes.”
Well how about we have our fight here
then we run outside to slay the dragon
we can work together!
Alright. As a knight I must defend the princess and teach her how to slay the dragon should anything befall and besiege her kingdom. Swish, slash, mighty dagger!
Are you ready to match fire with steel?
“Yes daddy!”
Let’s be off then! For the kingdom! For the princess!
