Fractal Face
Poem #271 • What emerges from the shattered mirror
When a mirror shatters
what emerges from behind?
A perfect fractal face
or a shell of a portrayed confident mind?
Sharp fission and phase
Can you see your reflection
whites of the eyes
denying any insight to inner complexion?
Before the glass hits the floor
you can decide to pick it up
put it together
buff it out
be whole once more
