Intimate Rains
Poem #313 • Inlets flow from head to toe while she uses her fingers to quiet quivering lips
Sweeping across the mountains of her chest
tracing rain with her fingers across the melting caps
my wife’s heart beats for me
as heat transforms winter to tropical rains
flushing the snow from her chest
revealing flaming red ginger torches
Inlets flow from head to toe
while she uses her fingers to quiet quivering lips
smiles overcome as her loving preparation
showers with love’s attestation
This is not a moment of one
we have built this in dedication
devotion
time
she is my wife
my youth
a graceful doe
our life is one
our love is so
