Dancing in heat
to the beat of the flicker of the fire
the dim light incandescent
leaves the rustic effervescence
to awash our senses in the scent of each other at home

The fireplace larger than life with orange and yellow capers
this setting sends wonderful smiles as we stare through the vapors
giggling with love I lift your hand
to take the moment and lead you like a man

Your smile so broad
your eyes close with a hymn of laud
sometimes the best times to romance
are the ones that we snatch
grinning with pleasure as we take the chance to advance

As smiles contain
we remain present in the moment
the flame warming our hearts and hands to the touch
we fill ourselves with the air that we share
such are the moments where love and fire are in the air
