Many men who hear it would forget themselves and follow its melody.
It’s beautiful
mysterious
dangerous
deadly to the soul.

It speaks of giant wings
flying away
ample breasts
feeding without decay
promises of a life saturated with satisfaction
then it takes you under its wing and devours you

The song is an addiction for those who heed its call
“The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak”
she’ll say as the last words you’ll ever hear.

So heed not a siren’s song
no matter what it may say
for the seed you water is the one that will take root in your forest
and you’ll wander forever to the siren’s chorus
