Her svelte silhouette on the pier takes in the setting sun as pillowy clouds put it down to bed
Throwing outstretched hands to the side
chest to the air
eyes to the sky
she seems ready to daintily dance or even excitedly fly
Brilliant purple
pink like a rose
dandelion yellow
apricot orange
over the ocean to her back compliment her pose
she draws her arms parallel to the ground straight from her shoulders
as if accepting the horizon’s enticing task
Soaring while exquisitely dancing
frolicking to and fro
there’s mirth in her easy movement
in her black glow
The svelte silhouette begins to fade little by little
as the sun goes to sleep
a dancing day is a good moment for everyone to keep
And I’ll put my setting sun on a bed of clouds
