these aren’t buzzwords
they are virtues to be honored and praised
Do you not know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit whom you have from God and that you are not your own?
Every person understands
that when you make relations an impulse
the body’s desire for satiation never ends

A young woman like a smoothie
carrying a strawberry basket
wearing a blueberry dress
smiles like the butter that brings the river drink together

When you look at this beautiful lady what do you see?
A heart to inflict with your poison languish of heart and bold-faced lust
embracing darkness with your soul and trading your trust
or seeing not just something but someone worth protecting
a bud whose sins are forgiven
who has been given the freedom to choose her own way?

God has called heaven and earth to witness, that we have set before us life and death, blessing and curse. Choose life that you and your offspring may live, loving God and what he has made, obeying his voice and holding fast to him.
Our spirits can know what it means to be whole
understanding that there is more to life than the fall and the blood rushing under our skin
that even a pretty lady picking fruit
has greater purpose than letting darkness take root
