Orange
it can be vibrant or burnt
but always resilient
that is why it’s the color I choose
A lot of people say they are more than what they were many moons ago
How many of them have actually made it to where they wanted to go
or given endeavors earnest sustained effort?
Many can claim to be burned
how many have been but singed
how many have harvested the fruit to plant again another season and watch their orchard grow?
No one is perfect
even so
in the ways life captures time
how many of us have tried to reclaim it?
