On the shoulder of a palm
across the open water
swaying with the soft breeze
gentle as the waves
and the ridges flowing up your bark
may the rocking ride never end
Dressed in the skin of my youth
hair long and straight as a sail
white over my chest and loins
pastel greens cover the wind at my back
while I daydream enamored by the back and forth of this tree of a boat
and the dangling of my feet
